Known as The Food Town, Castle Douglas boasts a busy main street, with variety of lovely independant boutique style shops, butchers, greengrocers, fishmonger, and artisan bakery, along with restaurants, a host of friendly café's and takeaways.
Castle Douglas is also home to the weekly cattle and sheep market, a great treat for visitors to go and see!
